‘Cowards’: 4 Deputies Cowered Behind Cars As Cruz Killed Kids – Here’s The Damning Details

Maybe CNN can have another TownHall, and invite some patriots to demand Sheriff Israel’s resignation after this disgrace.

Those kids and teachers were failed by someone alright.

But don’t blame the NRA. Blame the government employees who were hired and paid to protect them.

Jake Tapper and Co. organized that scripted shaming of their political adversaries, using grieving kids as pawns in a game.

Where we saw Sheriff Israel (D) had the gall to point a finger at Dana Loesch at that Townhall Meeting. Well, in the words of Eric Clapton… ‘Before you accuse me, take a look at yourself’.

Yes, Sheriff. Let’s take a look at YOUR failures of leadership here.

And we’re not even talking about those 39 visits to the murderous thug’s house, are we? Let’s look at the events of that one day.

We’ve already talked about the deputy on duty there, 33 years in the force, who sat outside the school for 4 minutes while listening to *gunshot* one after another after another *gunshot* child get *gunshot* maimed or *gunshot* executed without either pity *gunshot*or remorse.

That deputy ducked any inquiry and took an early retirement.

Did the parents get to say anything to the guy who still gets 75% pension of his final five years of earnings for the rest of his life? No. A police cordon even kept reporters from speaking to him. So nice to see that HE was ‘kept safe’ by police.

But the story is far worse than we first thought.

With an active shooter in progress, and the now-retired and publicly humiliated deputy hid and called for help. Guess what happened when help came?

They cowered, too.

When Coral Springs police officers arrived at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, on February 14 in the midst of the school shooting crisis, many officers were surprised to find not only that Broward County Sheriff’s Deputy Scot Peterson, the armed school resource officer, had not entered the building, but that three other Broward County Sheriff’s deputies were also outside the school and had not entered, Coral Springs sources tell CNN. The deputies had their pistols drawn and were behind their vehicles, the sources said, and not one of them had gone into the school.

With direction from the Broward deputies who were outside, Coral Springs police soon entered the building where the shooter was. New Broward County Sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene, and two of those deputies and an officer from Sunrise, Florida, joined the Coral Springs police as they went into the building.
Some Coral Springs police were stunned and upset that the four original Broward County Sheriff’s deputies who were first on the scene did not appear to join them as they entered the school, Coral Springs sources tell CNN. It’s unclear whether the shooter was still in the building when they arrived.

Not ONE Had Entered the school? Zero out of Four deputies?

It took the OTHER police departments to spring into action.

Surely we’re not the only ones reacting a little like this guy to that news:

And CNN wanted to talk about whose hands REALLY have ‘blood on them’? Looks like we’ve found your answer. Here are some suggestions:

First, why are we only finding this out more than a week later? And from Coral Springs deputies, at that?

When ONE guy chokes in the face of danger… that can be chalked up to a problem at the personnel level. Call it training, cowardice, or whatever. It was one guy. But when several members of the department ALL choke and leave the victims to the whims of a violent offender? Well…

That’s a much Bigger problem. One that falls squarely on Sheriff Israel’s desk.

Maybe instead of trying to tell Floridians to vote Democrat in the next election, the Sheriff should be looking at why he’s running an operation filled with so many gutless wonders. And whether that’s a reflection of the nutless wonder they work for.

He should ask himself why his leadership has not helped develop courageous and decisive deputies like the courageous ones who showed up from Sunrise or New Broward County, and faced the threat.

During the time of inaction, the killer took the opportunity to slip away into the crowd, and sit down to enjoy a soft drink at a local fast-food place.

If he had a sinister second act to his macabre play, or a second weapons cache, and wanted to go for broke, there’s no telling WHAT else could have happened after that.

FOUR deputies hid. While children *gunshot* where executed *gunshot* one after another *gunshot* and the only ones around *gunshot* with the tools to stop him *gunshot* did NOTHING.

Those saying teachers should be permitted in school are not adding the responsibility of charging in like John Wayne to other teaching duties.

It is affirming their right to have the tools they need to save their own life if faced by a threat the government failed to protect them from.

But of course, Progressives will tell you we don’t really need a Second Amendment. Becuase the government will never fail.
